The Lectures

The Extended Study on Innovation is worth 30 ECTS that are split between 8 lectures.
These lectures have to be completed in 2 consecutive semesters, which can be done in parallel to a Bachelor, Master or PhD study program at the TU Wien.
Attendance to all the lectures is compulsory due to the interactive and hands-on format of the program.

The first semester includes the lectures Foundations of Innovation, Creativity & Ideas,  Financing of Innovation and Innovation Project 1.

The second semester includes Innovation Cases, Legal Issues and Leadership & HR, Marketing, Sales & PR and Innovation Project 2.

During the program, participants create teams and work on their own innovation projects, where they implement the learnings from the lectures. Students also get specific mentoring and 1:1 feedback sessions with experts to discuss the projects and how to develop them further.

The program concludes with the Demo Day, where the teams present their projects to a broader audience and a high-profile jury of experts.
