As a newly sciencepreneur, performing a market analysis is probably the most challenging, yet crucial thing to do when evaluating the market potential of your research.

This workshop will provide you with the necessary understanding of the concepts and tools required to analyze markets from various perspectives. Identifying the market potential of your technology is not only useful for deriving what the market needs are and what value your solution is providing, but also for applying for financial support from local public grant givers. Business intelligence overall provides you with valuable information regarding your product/service strategy. Using various creative methods, the market landscape – size, growth, competition – can be analyzed and your own USP is sharpened.

The participants will be able to:

  • understand why investors buy into an idea and use these insights to support the formulation of the product strategies.
  • Identify trends and opportunities for new products and services.
