i²c STARTacademy 2018 – the Bootcamp 4 Scientists
Identify and evaluate market opportunities – this is the first step for scientists who want to transfer their technology/their research results into successful products or services. The i²c STARTacademy supports scientists to develop an initial understanding of research transfer, either in the application or commercialization opportunities of their results. Tools and methods enable scientists to develop a business model and a first financial plan. Our bootcamp helps you identify how to transform your research into a potential spinout.

PhD students have the opportunity to qualify for the i²c Award – a high potential PhD scholarship amounting to € 5000, – + workplace in the i²c co-working space incl. participation in the TUW i² incubation program after finishing the PhD,

Financial planning: which financing options are available, do they fit your utilization philosophy and what implementation strategy is needed

APPLICATION PROCESS:
Please send a brief description of your technology to application@i2c.tuwien.ac.at by January 14th, 2018 latest. The description should include a short summary of your research result, the names and affiliation of your team members (at least 3 per project), the state of the art and what makes your project unique in the field of application. Additionally, please provide a brief description of your expectations from the program. Workshop language and language of submission is English.
