Katharina Klausberger, her Co-founder and a small, but extremely motivated team worked on another startup idea when they decided to give the byproduct, Shpock, a try. Today the flea market app counts more than 8 million users.
The successful entrepreneur describes the decision making on which project should be followed and which should be abandoned.
Additionally she gives insight on how to build a product that’s used and loved by millions of users.
During her studies of business administration at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, Katharina Klausberger worked in the fields of business consultancy, finance and marketing. After finishing her Master´s Degree she gave lessons at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation at the WU Vienna. She additionally managed innovation projects and earned her PhD. In 2010 she and her Co-founder opend their own business, finderly GmbH, a platform for product recommendations, and Shpock, a mobile version of a “flea market for pretty things”.
