In July 2026, Vienna will host ESSAI 2026, the largest European summer school dedicated to Artificial Intelligence — bringing together more than 400 early-stage AI researchers from across Europe and beyond.
Organised under the auspices of European Association for Artificial Intelligence, #ESSAI2026 is more than a summer school.

Call for Industry ChallengesCompanies working with AI are invited to submit a concrete, real-world AI challenge for discussion with PhD students and leading researchers. Selected challenges will be:
• presented during the Networking Event• discussed in depth with junior researchers and domain experts• explored as potential starting points for collaboration, research projects, and innovation transfer
