Job description

The Vienna University of Technology is Austria’s largest research and educational institution in the technical and natural sciences and has been making an indispensable contribution to securing the international competitiveness and innovative strength of Austria as a research location for more than 200 years. Under the motto “Technology for People”, around 26,000 students and more than 4,000 scientists conduct research, teaching and innovation at the Vienna University of Technology.At the Innovation Incubation Center (i²c) we are looking for support in our activities starting in June, limited initially to 1 year, (max. 4 years), but at the longest until the completion of the master or diploma studies.Your tasks:

  • Collaboration in the service portfolio of the organizational unit
  • Support in research and data maintenance as well as marketing and PR activities
  • Preparation of information (e.g. creating presentations)
  • Collaboration in the planning, organization and implementation of events as well as project management

Your profile:

  • Enrolled at TU Wien, in a relevant degree program – preferably Business Informatics, no completed masters or diploma studies in the field.
  • Very good written and spoken language skills (German, English)
  • High degree of accuracy and reliable working methods, high sense of responsibility and ability to work in a structured manner
  • Passion for project management and control
  • Good knowledge of SEO and social media marketing
  • Ability to work in a team and communicate
  • Interest in organizational and administrative, as well as project-related work

The remuneration is based on the minimum wage of salary group C according to the collective agreement for university employees and is currently EUR 1,073.70 gross/month (14 times per year) for a weekly employment of 20 hours. The contract is initially limited to one year.
