i²c Curriculum DEMO DAY 2018

On June 20th 2018, the Innovation Incubation Center (i²c) TU Wien invited everybody, who is interested in innovation projects coming from TU Wien, to the i²c Curriculum Demo Day at TUtheSky – the pitch challenge of the i²c Curriculum batch #6, where 12 student-teams were competing for pre-seed prizes.

About the i²c Curriculum

The supplementary curriculum offered by the i²c provides a premium, hands-on education on intra- and entrepreneurship for TU Wien-students of all faculties. Within two semesters, a selected group of students receives input and mentoring in all relevant topics preparing them for a company foundation or a career in corporate innovation management. Under the close guidance of experienced mentors, the students shape innovative ideas and implement the lessons learned in their own projects. The result of one-year supplementary education is presented to a jury of investors and community experts at the final pitch challenge – the Demo Day.

Welcome Note and Alumni Impulse Talk

Birgit Hofreiter, director of the i²c, and Nathalie Köck, Program Manager of the i²c Curriculum, opened the event with a welcome note. The event was moderated by Daniel Cronin, who handed over the microphone afterward to Christoph Krofitsch, alumnus of the curriculum batch #4 and Co-founder & COO of byrd technologies. In his alumni impulse talk, Christoph shared his “Success Story Byrd: From University Project to Logistic Start-up of the Year 2017 – About Pivoting, Expanding and Disrupting the Logistics Industry”.
